Art That Connects
Each piece reflects a moment, a feeling,
or a story, made to brighten your daily life.
.
Art is what we call...the thing an artist does. It's not the medium or the oil or the price or whether it hangs on a wall or you eat it. What matters, what makes it art, is that the person who made it overcame the resistance, ignored the voice of doubt and made something worth making. Something risky. Something human. Art is not in the eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist. - Seth Godin
About Me

I’ve been drawn to making art for many years, but retirement has given me the freedom to really dive in. I enjoy working in watercolor, pastel, oil, and colored pencil, choosing whatever medium best fits the mood of a piece. I especially love creating art that becomes a meaningful gift or a cherished part of someone’s home. Outside the studio, I trade my paints for dancing shoes as a country ballroom dancer.
I’m especially inspired by people and the stories they carry, from expressive portraits and children at play to beloved pets and moments of everyday beauty—like a striking animal, a quiet landscape, or a colorful sunset.
